To seek Christ, Know Christ and Become Christ, each one for the sake of all

  Opportunities for Giving

We ask for your prayerful consideration in helping us build a special place at St. Dominic Parish.

The Prayer Garden has been growing in stages and will be enjoyed in many different ways.  This place will provide comfort to those seeking a quiet place to reflect and remember.  It will be a place for rejoicing with a newly married bride and groom as they pose for many happily-ever-after photos.  It will be a place to gather for First Communion and baptismal pictures.

In the center of the gardens is the statue of St. Dominic, our parish Patron Saint.  On the terrace is the cross of Christ rising above and overlooking the gardens.  On May 18, 2008 we will unveil and dedicate the Holy Family Shrine following the 9:00 a.m. Mass with Archbishop Dolan presiding along with a May crowning Prayer Service..  There will be a reception and chance to visit with the Archbishop following the service.  Surrounded by flowers, we hope to add bronze sculptures of the Pieta and one of our Lord, Jesus Christ, surrounded by children.

To help our gardens grow, we need your help by planting seeds of giving now.

Please consider making a gift in your own name or remembering a birthday or anniversary by contributing in someone else's name.  The gardens will also be a special place to remember those who are no longer among us with a memorial gift in their name.

Please help us create this special place and watch our gardens grow.
